Once you've secured a domain name, you'll need to choose a server (a computer that stores your web files) to host your site. Even if you are not planning on building your web page right away, it is wise to activate your domain and register it in the search engines as soon as possible. Some search engines can take up to 2 months to index your site so the sooner you establish your hosting, the sooner you will be able to funnel traffic to your site.

There are a number of local and national options that we can recommend depending upon your needs and location. Most reputable servers charge between $15 and $20 per month with a one time setup fee of $25-$50.
